  • Is anyone selling raffle tickets for a grenade launcher? I have a neighbor dog that really needs something to bark about.

Where do you buy those AR-15 raffle tickets?

The open carry movement may not be for everyone, so don’t carry.  It’s not going to be mandatory.  Just this past weekend, the anti-gun liberal city of Detroit, Mich. had 50 murders.  How many lives would have been spared if it had been legal to open carry and/or concealed?

No losing favor big time in this camp.  The Tea Party candidates are winning more elections than losing.  I don’t know what  you read on Thursday to indicate I’m wanting Mr. Bush to change or not write.  He’s as liberal as you and you’re both funny.

Doesn’t selling AR 15s, Sonic cards or any other items door-to-door fall under the Green River Ordinance?

Republicans are whining about President Obama using executive power to pass laws. Maybe they need to be reminded that he has used executive power less than almost any other president.

Burt Bowlus mentioned in his column that “we erected the Statue of Liberty.”  He needs to remember the French gave it to us.

Thanks to everyone who made this year’s fireworks show possible.  It was a wonderful display.

Thank you to the City Council for changing the hours at the compost site.    I work all week and Sunday is the only day I can get my  yard work done.   And the expanded hours Wednesday through Friday will help, too.

One of the Augusta council people seems to complain a lot about residents’ yards, porches, etc.    Does she like anything about Augusta?  Why does she live in a place where she obviously can’t find anything nice?
