  • Boys tracksters @ State
Kyler Steinkamp earned a high jump medal, Chaydon Carter earned a 100-meter dash, and the two of them, along with Cortlan Williams and Raef Hilt, earned a medal in the 4x100-meter race at the state meet.
Casady Marlnee - Softball v. Wellington, Basketball v. Collegiate
Casady Marlnee had top performances in two sports this year. During basketball season, she was a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line and scored 15 points in Augusta’s 46-35 win at Collegiate. During softball season, Marlnee hit two home runs in one game and added two hits in another during 17-7 and 11-2 victories at home versus Wellington.
Connor Hurst - Basketball v. Collegiate
Hurst had top performances during all three season this year, but perhaps his finest came against Collegiate. Hurst scored 22 points, including all eight Oriole OT points in a 62-59 overtime road win. Clutch. During baseball season against Clearwater, Hurst hit two RBI triples, a double and an RBI single in one game and hit three triples in the second game of two big wins. He also had 11 catches in the football team's win at Wichita Trinity.
Jacob Goldenstein, Colton Clayborn - Wrestling @ RH tournament
The two Oriole leaders won their respective weight division in convincing fashion against some of the toughest competition they, and the whole Oriole wrestling, faced all season. The two championships helped the team post an impressive second-place performance in the team standings, once of its best finishes ever at that tournament.
    Bailey Reichardt- Track at Mulvane
Bailey Reichardt won four first-place medals at the Mulvane Invitational. Two of them were individual medals as she won both the 100-meter (13.11 seconds) and 200-m (27.82) dashes. She also was a part of Augusta’s 4x100-m (56.69) and 4x400-m (4:51.85) relay teams that also took first place.
Brandon Denoncourt - Soccer v. Mulvane
Brandon Denoncourt had a team record 14 assists this past season, and five of them came in one match in a 7-0 Orioles victory. Denoncourt went on to earn All-State Honorable Mention.
    Dakota Thompson - Football @ W. Trinity
Dakota Thompson recorded three sacks and eight total tackles, several of which were for loss of minimal gains, during the Orioles’ 28-24 District win at Wichita Trinity. Thompson spearheaded a valiant defensive effort that held the Knights’ strong running game in check.
Katy Nordman - Softball @ Andale
Katy Nordman was the softball team’s leading hitter for the season, and that was, in part, because of games like the ones she had against Andale. Nordman went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs in one game, then followed that with a two-hit, three-RBI hitting game that included a triple. Augusta won 6-1 and 20-0 to clinch the league title.
    Page 2 of 2 - Michael Albright - Baseball v. Clearwater
Michael Albright didn’t even know he hit a home run until after rounding second base. He finished 3-for-3 with a HR and an RBI single during the Orioles’ 15-0 victory. The Orioles also won 13-0 in the second game.
Dustyn McEachern - Basketball @ Circle
Dustyn McEachern had several stellar games off the bench for the Orioles. His finest outing came at Circle when he hit four 3-pointers and scored 19 points with four assists in a 82-65 win.
Jake Becker - AC Inv., State
Jake Becker won the Andover Central Invitational with a round of 74 in crazy windy conditions. Becker also tied for 8th place before settling for 12th at the Class 4A state meet with a round of 76.
Mason Hiser - Baseball @ Circle
Mason Hiser threw a dominant complete-game win against the Thunderbirds. Hiser finished with 13 strikeouts and allowed just three with no walks. Both T-bird runs were unearned.
Shelby Clay - Girls soccer v. Wichita Independent
Shelby Clay always was a top scoring threat for the Orioles. She put together a hat trick performance in the Orioles’ 5-2 win at Independent.
