  • School is out and summer is in full swing. Are you looking for an exciting, fun-filled educational event for your 5 to 9 year old? Then you don’t want to miss this “Round Up Some 4-H Fun” opportunity.
    The Butler County 4-H Ambassadors are hosting a day camp from 1 to 5 p.m. June 23. This day camp is open to 4-H and non 4-Hers between the ages of 5 and 9. The best part: it’s free. This year’s theme will be centered on a western round up. Activities at camp include: stick horse races, petting zoo, crafts, snacks, games and music
    Camp will be held at the 4-H/Community Building in El Dorado. Those who are interested in attending or would like additional information can call the Butler County Extension Office at (316) 321-9660, visit them online at www.butler.ksu.edu under the Ambassadors tab, or stop by their office at 206 N. Griffith, Suite A in El Dorado. Registration deadline is June 13 and is limited to the first 30 registrants.
