The Oriole runners - Raef Hilt, Kyler Steinkamp, Cortlan Williams and Chaydon Carter - put together one of the best times in school history by finishing the race in 43.74 seconds to take third place. The time was just a few tenths off the school record.
Carter also earned a sixth-place medal in the 100-m dash with a time of 11.34.
In the high jump, Steinkamp earned a medal a second straight season by clearing 6 feet, 4 inches. He took fifth place, just short of the winning mark of 6-8.
