  • Carole “Sue” Prewitt 59, of Leon,  passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Peabody Care Center in Peabody.
    Visitation with family will  be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday May 7, 2014,  at Leon United Methodist Church in Leon.
      Sue was just two days shy of celebrating her 60th birthday.  She was the daughter of Raymond “Delbert” and Marilyn (Geer) Cain.  Sue worked as a para at Heart Springs prior to becoming ill in March of 2012.  She also worked as a cook and waitress at several different restaurants during her life.  She and Dennis operated the New Moon Café in Towanda for several years.   Sue loved to take care of others and enjoyed socializing. She had a heart of gold.  Sue enjoyed flowers, crafts of any kind, sewing cooking and baking.  She enjoyed spending  time with family and friends.
    Sue is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.  
    Survivors include: son, Shay of El Dorado; daughter, Ashley (Greg) Ballew of Burns; husband of 25 years, Dennis Prewitt of Towanda;  sisters, Linda, Candy, Kim and Staci; grandchildren, Austin, Tylin, Taylor, Trevor, Kaycee; many nieces and nephews.
