Despite the extreme blustry winds Monday, Augusta's Jake Becker was still able to put together an impressive round of golf during the Orioles' meet at the Andover Central Invitational at Terradyne.
After coming close on a couple occasions, Becker shot a round of 74 to win the individual title. He was four strokes better than Collegiate's Camron Chugg and Wichita Trinity's Alex Carro, both of whom shot 78 to tie for second place.
Becker, the only Oriole medalist, led the team to fourth place with a team score of 344. Buhler won the team title with a score of 327, Collegiate was second (333) and the Andover Trojans were third (343).
Kade Trebbe shot an 88 for the Orioles. Jacob Urmacher shot a round of 90, Trevar Bevan shot a 92, Breck Winter a round of 100 and Jonny McMurphy a round of 106 for Augusta.
