Aaron Wells' letter claims Americans For Prosperity is a small player in Kansas politics. However, Kansas City Star reporter Brad Cooper reported Wednesday that AFP accounted for nearly 40% of lobbyist spending in Kansas so far in 2014: $207,997 out of $550,882. Almost 40% of all lobbying funds this year have come from one group. And you wonder why Gov. Brownback and our local legislators sold out teachers and taxpayers.
