  • William and Sherry Neier of Ashland, Kan., and Keith and Pam Johnson of Benton are pleased to announce the joining of their families with the marriage of their children, Katelyn Jo (Neier) Johnson and Christopher Scott Johnson.

  • William and Sherry Neier of Ashland, Kan., and Keith and Pam Johnson of Benton are pleased to announce the joining of their families with the marriage of their children, Katelyn Jo (Neier) Johnson and Christopher Scott Johnson.
    Katelyn graduated from Ashland Jr./Sr. High School and Kansas State University with a degree in elementary education. She is currently a bank teller at Union State Bank in Winfield.
    Christopher graduated from Circle High School in Towanda, Butler Community College with an associate's degree in liberal arts with a minor in business and Spring Barclay College in Haviland, Kan., with a bachelor’s in pastoral ministry. He currently works as a bank teller at Corner Bank in Winfield and as an associate pastor in Winfield Church.
    The couple was married at the First United Methodist Church in Winfield at 4 p.m. on Jan. 25 by Reverand Sue Merritt of Lone Wolf, Okla. Organist Christy Pyatt and guitarist Bruce Johnson provided music for the ceremony.
    Katelyn was accompanied by her sister as the maid of honor and her friends served as bridesmaids. Christopher was accompanied by his brother as best man and his close friends as groomsmen.
    The reception was held at Quail Valley Farms in Winfield.
