  • Yesterday’s rain chances obviously didn’t amount to much, mostly just leaving a few water spots in our dust layer.  Looking ahead to the weekend forecast and beyond, there is a little more hope for some precipitation between this weekend and the middle of next week.
Saturday will bring us another dry and breezy day, with highs in the upper 70s and south winds gusting to 30+ mph. Our next rain chances then enter the picture, with probabilities increasing by late Sunday and continuing on into Monday.
No severe weather is expected with this system, but strong storms could develop – possibly on Sunday night – with the potential for nickel sized hail and gusts to 50 mph. Precipitation chances will build again on Wednesday, with best chances on Wednesday evening/overnight. This time, storms could become severe. At the moment meteorologists are predicting up to half dollar sized hail with gusts to 60 mph. There is still uncertainty surrounding track and timing of the system on Sunday, so stay tuned for further updates…
