  • USD 490 Partners in Education will be hosting a double elimination dodge ball tournament at 9 a.m. May 3 at El Dorado High School.
    Proceeds will go to their Grants for Schools Program for teachers and students in USD 490.   Concessions will be available and a silent auction with student art and USD 490 administration homemade desserts.
    Anyone 16 and over can participate and form a team of five. The cost is $100 per team and teams are encouraged to create their own costumes.  Only the first 16 teams can be accepted.  Prizes and certificates for first, second and third place teams.  Prizes will also be given for best costume. There will be drawings throughout the day for prizes for spectators.
    Cost to watch the games is $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under.   For more information or to sign up a team before April 25, contact Judy Smith, PIE development director, at 322-4800 or jusmith@eldoradoschools.org.
    Tickets for the event will be available at the door.
