"To Kill a Mockingbird" takes stage Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday evenings

The Augusta High School Spring Play “To Kill a Mockingbird” will be presented at 1 p.m. Thursday, 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the AHS auditorium. The production is directed by Tim Laner.

Playwright Christopher Sergel has captured many of the intense and heartwarming scenes from the Academy Award winning screenplay of the 1963 film. "To Kill a Mockingbird" is the only book by Harper Lee. The Pulitzer Prize winning book reflects her early childhood experiences. The book has become a required read for students across America.
