  • Local youth are invited to participated in a new Summer Youth Service Program (SYSP) in El Dorado this summer. SYSP is an opportunity for youth groups to volunteer for a week through a service project with El Dorado LunchBox: Summer Meals for Kids.
    Church youth groups, Scouts, and other youth organizations are invited and welcome to participate. This community service opportunity with the LunchBox is on weekdays during its 6-weeks of operations from June 30 - August 8. The registration deadline for groups to sign up is May 15.
    An informational meeting about SYSP is open to the public on Tuesday, April 1, 5:00 - 6:30 pm, at the El Dorado Civic Center. This is a "come & go" event for interested in persons to stop by any time before 6:30pm.
    Youth groups can register and save particular dates for their service project on a first come basis. Smaller youth groups might partner with each other or a larger group. There is no fee to participate
