Kimberly Webb will be taking over as the new director of information services for El Dorado School District.

She will be replacing Jackie Clark, who is retiring on June 30.

As part of Webb’s job she will do the public relations and support the student information system (PowerSchool) as well as other software applications. She will not be serving as board clerk though, as Clark had.

Webb, who is from Burns, said she applied for the job after seeing it listed.

“I saw the ad in the paper and it sounded like a lot of what I did for Kechi when I was an intern there,” she said. “It sounded like a great opportunity.”

Webb is familiar with the El Dorado Schools, having graduated from El Dorado High School. She has a 4 year old now who will be starting in El Dorado schools next year.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge,” Webb said. “It sounds like there is a lot the position entails. I’m looking forward to the new opportunity to learn more and grow my skill set.”

Webb earned her associate of arts in liberal arts from Butler Community College in 2011 and her bachelor of arts in communication and Spanish in 2013. She currently works as a customer service representative for Community National Bank.

Webb will be starting with USD 490 on May 5.
