  • You obviously are not printing any news about Girl Scout cookie sales helping to fund Planned Parenthood, which aborted 330,000 in 2013...how can a self-claimed Christian condone abortion?
    ------------------------
Editor’s note: The latest campaign against the Girl Scouts stems from social media posts by Girl Scouts of USA that Pro-Life groups interpreted as promoting politicians who support abortion rights, including Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Officially, the Girl Scouts organization does not support abortion. The Girl Scouts were targeted a decade ago when a single council was allowing its logo to be used on fliers of Planned Parenthood. After the issue drew national attention, the logo was dropped from the fliers. Girl Scouts highlight various female leaders in its materials, including former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and politician Sarah Palin - in addition to Davis and Sebelius. Also - since 1929, each First Lady has served as Honorary National President of Girl Scouts.
