When a team goes undefeated in league and sends a dozen wrestlers to State, there are going to be accolades that follow.

The entire starting lineup for Augusta's varsity wrestling team earn All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail Div. IV honors. To top it off, coach Brandon Terry was named the league's coach of the year.

Jake Goldenstein earned his third straight First Team All-League honor, this year at 113 pounds. Nathan Moore (120), Josh Moore (126), Rob Winzer (152), Wright Bosley (170) and Blake Aitchison (285) all earned First Team All-League honors for the Orioles. All six of them qualified for State, where Goldenstein placed third.

Tyler Hildibrand (106), Connor Spellman (145), Colton Clayborn (160), Cody Thompson (182), Blake Watkins (195) and Ian O'Laughlin (220) all earned Second Team honors.

Nigel Callison (132) and Kalaeb Bratton (138) both earned All-League Honorable Mention.

Augusta set a team record with 12 state qualifiers and won its first ever regional team championship. At Regionals, Goldenstein, Clayborn and O'Laughlin all won their championship match.

Andale senior Tyler Mies (138) earned the league's Wrestler of the Year honor. He won a state championship.

-Circle's wrestling team had four Thunderbirds earn All-League honors. Freshman Austin King (285) earned Second Team honors, while Rodney Longshaw (106), Ridge Walker (182) and Jarod Daniel (195) all earned All-League Honorable Mention for Circle.
