Organizers are expecting another great year

Plans are underway for this year's Women's Fair.

In its sixth year, organizers are expecting another great year. The theme this year is "Be You. Be Beautiful."

In will include such vendors as those offering Tuperware and Avon, chiropractors, realtors, jewelry, home-based businesses, non-profits and more. There also will be health screenings provided.

The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 5 at the Hubbard Welcome Center at Butler Community College, 901 S. Haverhill.

They are still signing up vendors, although spots are filling up fast.

Organizers said it was a great opportunity for business people to network and expose their businesses to others, with 300 to 400 people attending.

They also said it was a good opportunity for residents to find people in the area who offers products or services they may need, as well as see things they may not otherwise ever see.

During the day there also will be door prizes and special drawings for a "night out on the town"

The cost for vendors is $35 for chamber members and $45 for non-members. Anyone interested in joining the chamber can call them at 321-3150. For more information on the fair, call the chamber, e-mail them at reception@eldoradochamber. com or join the event on the chamber's Facebook page. The event is sponsored by the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce and Butler Community College.
