The Circle Thunderbirds were no match for the Andover Central girls basketball team in Saturday night's sub-state championship.

The Jaguars raced to an 11-2 lead in the first quarter and allowed only two points in the second quarter on way to a 68-23 blowout victory of the T-birds to win the Class 4A El Dorado sub-state tournament. With the win, the Jaguars advance to the state tournament in Salina starting Thursday of next week.

The Jaguars got out in transition often and found open cutters all night for easy layups. Becca Schulte nine of the Jaguars' first 11 points, all from inside on crisp passes. The Jaguars finished with 18 assists in the game.

Skyler Snodgrass caught fire from outside by hitting a 3-pointer to close the opening quarter and another one in the second quarter. She finished with a game-high 20 points.

Circle's Katelynn Wilson scored all 11 of the T-birds' points in the first half and finished with 13 points.
