  • Ceone M. Wrench, 92, El Dorado, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
    Visitation, with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, El Dorado. Interment will be follow later at 4 p.m. , in the Beloit Cemetery.
    She was born on March 31, 1921 in Beloit, the daughter of William Jesse and Lula (George) Powell. Ceone graduated from Beloit High School and on July 13, 1941 she and William F. Wrench were united in marriage in Beloit. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1982.
    Ceone was a member of First United Methodist Church, a very active member of American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and the Susan B. Allen Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, loved to travel, camp, fish and do water aerobics. Ceone was a very compassionate person and always believed that the most important thing to do was to love your kids.
    Those she leaves include: son, Ted Wrench and his wife Susan of El Dorado; daughters, Edith Ehrlich of El Dorado, Mae Scott of Pittsburg, and Karen Hayes of El Dorado; sister, Patricia Grabast of Osborne, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
    She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers, and one grandsons.
