  • City of El Dorado to begin distribution of recycling bins

  • Residents will be asked to no longer bag their recyclables
    • email print
  • The City of El Dorado will be delivering recycle carts starting the last week of March to all residential customers.
They ask that residents no longer bag their recyclables – therefore no more sorting. They will no longer accept glass at the curb. People will set their cart out along with their trash on their normal trash day.
The same rules apply – out to curb by 7 a.m., lid opening to street and must be returned to the house within 24 hours of collection. Please remember not to set it to close to the trash cart so that it doesn't interfere with the trash collection by the automated truck.
For questions, call the City of El Dorado Recycle Center at 316-322-448.
The Recycle Center is located at 222 E. Locust and is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
