  • The world we live in is difficult. It is even harder when people put their trust in others, only to be disappointed.
The Bible is the Divine Book about God and His will for mankind. It is our job to seek the plan, obey it, and live putting our trust in God - not man.
What does the Bible teach us about God that is worthy of our interest?
    * There is power in the written word. The apostle Paul writes with this very thought, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness or God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written. But the righteous man shall live by faith." (Romans 1:16-17).
    * There is power in prayer. James teaches us the value and power of prayer. "...The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." (James 5:16).
When our lives are in harmony with God the avenue of prayer results in much good.
    * There is power in the principle of faith. During the last discourse with His disciples, Jesus encouraged them to believe in a greater purpose than themselves. "Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe in Me." (John 14:1).
When we look to God and trust and obey, He will sustain us, help us, and protect us.
    Trust in God.
