Cami Baker is El Dorado's new municipal court judge

The city of El Dorado has its first woman on the municipal court bench. The city’s newly appointed Municipal Court judge is Cami Baker, an attorney from Augusta.

Baker’s appointment comes following the end of Gene White’s 25-year tenure as Municipal Court judge.

“While I realize many people will miss Gene White, who I have great respect for as a judge, attorney and person, I look forward to serving the El Dorado community as its municipal judge and appreciate this opportunity,” Baker stated.

Baker has been practicing law in the Butler County area for more than 20 years and has offices in Augusta, El Dorado and Andover. She graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law and was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.

She has been active in the Augusta Chamber of Commerce, Augusta Downtown, Inc., Ignite Augusta, she served on the board and is a supporter of the Butler County Big Brothers and Sisters, and in 2010, became a member of the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital Board of Directors.
