  • Augusta native Stefanie Pierson Gostautas has been hired as the new technology services coordinator for the South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS).  
    Pierson Gostautas has been employed the past five years at the Mount Laurel, N.J., Public Library.  She earned her masters of library science degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., and two undergraduate degrees in classical languages and English from the University of Kansas.  
    Among Gostautas Pierson’s job duties are the management of the South Central Kansas Automation Network (SCKAN), a library automation consortium including the Augusta Public Library, Bradford Memorial Library in El Dorado, Towanda Public Library and Whitewater Memorial Library.
