  • It has been said, “One of the mistakes of men is their failure to put their trust in God. They trust in themselves and fail. They trust in people and are betrayed. They trust in a cause and it folds. When there is nothing left to sustain them then they sink.”
The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
The fruitful life is a life lived for God in Christ. The way of life is too hard to try to make it alone.
Trust in the Lord when your burdens are heavy. For it is He who will give you the strength to persevere! The Psalmist writes, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)
Trust in the Lord when your heart is broken. For it is He who heals the broken hearted. Again, “The Lord is near to the broken hearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18).
Trust in the Lord when your friends fail you. For it is He who will be your friend - through thick and thin.
    Trust in the Lord!
