Brooke Longabardi pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated battery in Butler County District Court Monday.
Through a plea deal, Brooke Longabardi pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated battery, a level five person felony, in Butler County District Court Monday.
Longabardi, formerly of Potwin, was charged with aggravated battery in the shooting of her husband on Aug. 18 in Potwin, which she claimed was an accident. Her husband also told the sheriff the shooting was an accident, but investigators believed that was not the case because witnesses claimed to have heard several shots fired during an argument between the couple.
Sentencing in the case was set for March 6.
