  • Katelyn Jo Neier and Christopher Scott Johnson, both of Winfield, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Sherry Neier of Ashland.
    Parents of the prospective groom are Keith and Pam Johnson of Benton.
    Katelyn graduated from Ashland High School and Kansas State University with a degree in education. She is employed at Union State Bank and is active in children’s ministry at GracePointe Assembly of God.
    Christopher graduated from Circle High School and studied pastoral ministry and business and psychology at Barclay College. He is associate pastor at GracePointe Assembly of God and is employed at William Newton Hospital. He is a member of Kiwanis.
    The wedding is planned for Jan. 25, to be held at First United Methodist Church in Winfield at 4 p.m. and the couple will reside in Winfield.
