  • The El Dorado Police Department made an arrest Thursday morning in the case of some sexually explicit text messages women had received, said Detective Jeff Murphy.
"For about two months now there have been several females in the community receiving text messages that are sexual in nature," Murphy said.
"We had been investigating them and yesterday we were able to make an arrest in the case."
The suspect was booked into jail on two counts of stalking and electronic solicitation.
Murphy said it was an ongoing investigation and they are still asking anyone who has received an unwanted text message from (620) 960-7222 or (620) 381-1192 to contact Murphy at 321-9120.
