Hazel Lee Wilson, 83, of El Dorado passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 in El Dorado.
Celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Carlson Colonial Chapel El Dorado. Cremation will precede the service.
Hazel was born on Jan. 31, 1930 in Evansville, Ark., the daughter of Sidney and Alice Lee (Mizer) Briley. She was a florist and enjoyed reading, being a sports fan of the KU Jayhawks, and was active with her kids and grandkids. She was a member of the Bowling Association.
On Jan. 27, 1948 she was united in marriage to Bill R. Wilson in El Dorado. He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2012, just before their 64th wedding anniversary.
She leaves: her daughter, Carla Wentworth of El Dorado; her son, Terry (Kate) Wilson of Baton Rouge, La.; sister, Marty Scott of El Dorado; brother, Hank (Ruth) Burchard of Towanda; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Hazel was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Midge Danner; and brother, Lenton Mizer.
