If the special election vote fails to revoke the “Charter Ordinance”, the petition organizers should pay for the costs of the election. It is only fair to the tax payers.


Mr. Malone, you said there would be a petition on the hotel tax ordinance hitting the streets...I hope the people of the Fourth Ward remember you costing the city $10,000 come January 2015.


With the completion of the new dike on the west side of Augusta, wouldn't it be nice if the city and county could start future plans to further improve and pave the section of the dike road between 70th and US 400? Augusta could then begin development of that area and have a better route for truck traffic.
