Albert M. 'Matt' Kiddoo, 74, El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013

Kiddoo, Albert M. “Matt” 74, passed away December 18, 2013 at Robert Dole Veterans Hospital.

Graveside service with military honors will be 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado. The Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec.21, 2013, at Grace Baptist Church in Wichita.

Matt was born in Independence, Kan. on Feb. 18, 1939 to parents Kessner and Jewell (Letts) Kiddoo. The family moved to El Dorado where he graduated from high school in 1957. On April 13, 1959 Matt married Suzie (Love) in El Dorado at Park Avenue Church. He was in the United States Air Force for 23 years until 1980 and went to work at Cessna Aircraft as a controller and maintenance engineer for another 23 years until he retired in 2002. He like to scroll saw, go fishing, tinker with anything electronic, and go volks marching. His biggest love was being a grandparent and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: wife, Suzie of the home; two daughters, Susan Moore of Dunn, NC, and Patricia Leibham (Jim) Arlington, Texas; son, Albert Jr. of Wichita; sister, Patricia Kiddoo of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Jason, Katie, Melissa, James, and Tia; great-great- granddaughter, Delaney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older sister Donna Kay.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army and Grace Baptist Church Childrens Ministry.
