Geneva Maxine Casady, 91, of Benton, and formerly of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at her home.
Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at First Church of the Nazarene, Augusta.
Geneva was born in Ft. Collins, Colo. on Sept. 24, 1922, to the late Gertrude Ethel (Mock) and Earl Nathan Hawkins. She retired as a unit clerk from Wesley Hospital after 16 years. Geneva married Gail W. Casady on Dec. 1, 1942 at Kimble, Neb., and he survives her.
She is also survived by: son, Larry Casady of Lancaster, Calif.; daughter, Connie Steed of Benton; son, Danny Casady and wife Betty of Pocahontas, Ark.; daughter, Kathy Walter and husband Dale of Benton; daughter- in-law, Terri Casady of Rogers, Ark.; son, Rick Casady and wife Joyce of Benton; brother, Nathan Hawkins and wife June of Greely, Colo.; 22 grandchildren, 51 great- grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy; son in law, Marvin Steed; sisters, Earlene Wilson and Elverna Bott.
