  • EMS hoops takes on Circle

  • The EMS 8th grade girls B-team lost to the Circle T-Bolts 29-15 on Thursday night. The Cats were led in scoring by Kayla Liggett with six points. Tolle added four points and Jaden McAdoo scored three points.The 8th grade A-team lost as well to Circle by the score of 31-17. The Cats were led by Hollie Gregg with nine points and Grace Myers poured in four points. Chelsie Myer and Abbie Edwards each had two points in the loss. "Both EMS teams were down by seven points with four minutes to go in each of their games but were unable to convert on some open looks and had some tough luck down the stretch," said EMS coach Tyson Kohls. The 8th grade boys EMS A-team fell to Circle 53-35.  The B-team won their first contest of the season defeating Circle 25-15.  Both teams will be in action Monday night when they host Winfield. The 7th grade EMS boys A-team lost to Circle Thursday 49-24. The Cats were led in scoring by Cameron Clausing who scored eight points. Adam Haines poured in seven points, Jarin Koehler added five points. Kaleb Manke and Price each had two points in the defeat. The 7th grade boys B-team lost to Circle 39-7. Justin Jones led with four points.
