Six Orioles, including three seniors, were named to the All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League- Div. IV team.
Trae Goken earned First Team honors for punting. He booted 22 punts a total of 736 yards for an average of 33.5 yards per kick. Goken has earned All-League honors as a punter previously, as well.
Augusta senior Tristan Finch was one of several do-it-all players for the Orioles. Finch earned Honorable Mention at the quarterback position, as well as Honorable Mention as a linebacker. Finch rushed 138 times for 495 yards (3.6 ypc) and three touchdowns, and he threw for 1,013 yards and nine touchdowns on 80-of-153 passing (52.3 comp. percentage). On defense, he led the Orioles in tackles and scored one touchdown on an interception.
Connor Hurst earned Second Team honors at the defensive-back position and Honorable Mention as a wide receiver. On defense, he had 36 tackles and made three interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown that propelled Augusta to a win during the season opener against Circle.
Chaydon Carter earned three honors. He was named Second Team as a defensive back and earned Honorable Mention as a receiver and a special-teams player. Carter, who was an explosive player for the Orioles, had 25 carries for a 151 yards (6.0 ypc), caught 19 passes for 357 yards (18.8 ypr) and had 27 returns for 503 yards (18.6).
Augusta’s offensive line was anchored by seniors Caleb Laubhan and Blake Aitchison. Laubhan was named Second Team All-Leauge. Aitchison earned Honorable Mention.
