El Dorado's football team had five players named to the All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League in Division III.

Two Wildcats, senior Travis House (6-foot-2, 195) and sophomore Cody Melugin (5-foot-7, 160), were named Second Team All-League as defensive backs. House also earned Honorable Mention as quarterback, where he had tremendous playmaking ability running and passing the ball, as well as a punter.

Senior Isaac Johnson (6-foot-1, 175) earned Second Team honors as a wide receiver for El Dorado.

Senior Gage Armstrong (5-foot-8, 165), earned Honorable Mention at the defensive-end position for the Wildcats.

Buhler, which won the Class 4A state championship this past weekend with a 31-14 win against Coffeyville to finish the season undefeated, led the league with 11 First Team selections, including Henry Hickert, a senior who was named the Most Valuable Player on the defensive side. Steve Warner was named the coach of the year for Buhler. Mulvane's Michael Mason was named the league's offensive MVP.

Mulvane had six First Team players, McPherson had five and Winfield had four. Winfield had a league-high seven Second Team players; Buhler and Mulvane had five, Rose Hill had four. Winfield also had a league-high nine Honorable Mentions. Rose Hill, Buhler and Mulvane all had five.
