  • Miss Frontier Sierra Marie Bonn participated in El Dorado Main Street’s Annual Chili Cook Off Saturday.
Teams had to arrive by 8 a.m. to set up their booths and begin cooking for the tasting that was open to the public. Sierra made her secret recipe which was a White Chicken Chili.
The winning team keeps all of their proceeds for the charity of their choice. All of the other teams keep half of their proceeds for their charity, the other half stays with El Dorado Main Street, which is Bonn’s crowning organization.
“It is a win-win situation for all who choose to compete in the Chili Cook Off,” said Bonn. “While the chilly temperatures kept the turnout low this year, it was still a successful event and one I look forward to competing in next year.”
Bonn has elected to have all of her proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). She participated last year and raised $33 for each organization in addition to having the opportunity to speak to about Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
