  • Area athletes earn All-League soccer honors

  • Rose Hill's boys soccer team's run to the state championship match can be attributed largely to its talented roster. The All-League honors is proof of that.
    Four Rockets were named first team All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League for Div. III-IV.
    Junior Christian Helmke and senior Czyz Taylor were named First Team as forwards for Rose Hill. Senior Kenton Weber was named First Team as a midfielder, and Alek Santo was named First Team as a defender.
    Sophomore Chance Beckham (midfielder), junior Logan Santo (defender) and junior Geoffrey Stitcher (goalkeeper) all earned Second Team honors for the Rockets.
    Chace Beckham, Elijah Gould and Ben Priebe all earned Honorable Mention for Rose Hill.
    Four T-birds honored
    Senior Nathan Chaplin earned Second Team All-League honors at the midfielder position for the Circle Thunderbirds. Braedon Roper, Ian Page and Logan Norris all earned Honorable Mention for the T-birds.
    Eight Trojans earn Div. II recognition
    Andover's soccer team had three players earn First Team All-AVCTL Div. II honors. Rahshei Thompson, a junior, was named First Team as a forward, junior Tommy Fiszel was named First Team as a midfielder and Christian Dell earned First Team honors as a defender for the Trojans.
    Gabriel Sotello (midfielder), Brandon Wompler (midfielder), Josh Loflin (defender) and Ryan Brimager (goalkeeper) all earned Second Team honors.
    Ean Fisher earned honorable mention for Andover.
    Williams named First Team for Jaguars
    Andover Central's Collin Williams was named First Team All-AVCTL Div. II at the defender position. Collin is a senior.
    Sophomore Renton Williams, junior Jace Peckham and sophomore Wyatt Skibba all earned Honorable Mention for the Jaguars.
