Several area students will be performing in Music Theatre for Young People’s upcoming production of Peter Pan next weekend.
Josie Hand, an eighth grader at Augusta Middle School, along with five Andover students, Brooklyn Castillo, Jake Castillo, Gabby Hamm, Alex Reida and Melissa Reida, will be in the show.
Peter Pan, like its namesake, is a tale that never ages. Children and adults alike have all fallen under the spell of J.M. Barrie’s wonderful story of Neverland, a place where children can fly and exciting, frightening adventures happen every single day. In this new adaptation, you will find all of your favorite characters- Peter Pan and Wendy, her brothers John and Michael, their parents Mr. and Mrs. Darling, the dastardly Captain Hook and his sidekick Smee, Tiger Lily, The Lost Boys, and who can forget the tick-tocking crocodile.
The show opens next Friday, November 22 at 7:30 pm and runs Saturday, November 23 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 24 at 2:30 pm in Mary Jane Teall Theater at Century II.
Tickets are $12 for adults ($15 at the door) and $10 for students and may be purchased at wichitatix.com or by calling (316) 219-4849.
