The Augusta High School Youth Entrepreneurs (YE) students put their small business plans into action and vied for their classmates’ patronage with Market Day on Wednesday during the noon hour.
The YE students had the opportunity to fine-tune their business and marketing skills as they offered a variety of foods.
In addition to Market Day, YE students participate in classroom competitions and work with community business leaders to enhance their business skills for future endeavors. The goal of the program is to stimulate economic thinking skills, encourage intelligent risk-taking, provide practical business expertise, and instill personal responsibility.
