2 In addition to serving dinner at the Community Building, volunteers also deliver meals to shut-ins at Heritage House, Gordy Square and others who get Meals From Wheels.

3 They have had a lot of good donations the last couple of years, which also helps keep it going. There will be a free will offering taken again at this year’s event. There are a lot of people working together to make the event happen. It is headed up by the First Christian Church, with help from many other local churches.

    Why you should attend
“One of the most important things about doing this, it seems like this whole thing continues to grow a little bit is just the camaraderie people have there. We have had several people mention they really enjoy getting out and seeing friends they haven’t seen for a while. It is that togetherness at Thanksgiving that makes this thing work. I invite everyone to come and enjoy it.”
