  • Thankfully, the bracing preview of winter we’ve had the last couple of days won’t be sticking around – at least not this time! Our daily highs are expected to climb throughout the rest of this week, with 60’s forecasted by Friday.
In exchange for the nicer temps, though, we will have to deal with more of those gusting winds.  Meteorologists are calling for sustained south winds in the mid-to-upper teens each day between now and the weekend, with gusts close to 30 mph at times.
Additionally, a chance for a little rain will enter the forecast beginning early Saturday morning.  At this point, only “benign” showers and thunderstorms are predicted –no strong or severe storms are in the forecast.
By Sunday night, an approaching cold front is expected to send our temperatures on another nosedive, but we can think about that later…..and enjoy our warm-up for now!
