Three Butler County volleyball players were named to the State All-Tournament Team for their performance this past weekend.
Rose Hill senior Kylie Pfaff (5-foot-11, outside hitter) was named to the Class 4A Div-I tournament team. Pfaff was a dominant hitter through the season for the Rockets. Pfaff earned this honor last season. She led the Rockets to a fourth-place finish at State.
Andover senior Regan Peare (5-foot-11, middle blocker/specialist) and junior Jaylyn Agnew (5-foot-11, middle blocker) both were named to the Class 5A All-State tournament team. They led the Trojans to a fourth-place finish.
This season, Peare had 336 kills and finished with a .303 hitting percentage and a 44 kill percentage. She totaled 143 stuff blocks, 464 assists and 40 ace serves. She was the MVP of the Andover Tournament. At State, she had 34 kills and a 2.74 serve receive average.
Agnew finished the season with 355 kills, a .344 hitting percentage, 47 kill percentage, 50 aces and 136 stuff blocks. At State, she had 49 kills.
