  • Glen O. Crawford, 91, Potwin, passed away Tuesday, ,Nov. 5, 2013, at Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.
    Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Potwin United Methodist Church. Interment at Potwin Cemetery.
    He was born Aug. 26, 1922, in Bentley, Kan., the son of Homer "Curly" and Louise (Hansen) Crawford. He was a retired industrial arts teacher, with a Master's degree in Education. He proudly served his country during WWII, with the United States Navy. In 1948, he was married to Alta Unruh, she preceded him in death. He later married June Fitzgerald in 1993. He was active in the Potwin United Methodist Church, and was a charter member of the Potwin Lions Club.
    He is survived by: wife, June; his children, Mary Clausen of Mulvane, Steven (Marcia) of Benton, and their families; his stepchildren, Michael Hurley, Sue Hurley, Eve Hurley, Melissa Chamberlin, and Kimberly Anderson (Douglas) and their families, all of Arizona; siblings, Virginia Melson of Bentley and William Crawford of Halstead.
