Andover Central's volleyball team beat El Dorado and Circle in straight sets Saturday on its home court to earn the team's first-ever trip to the state tournament.

The Jaguars rolled through El Dorado in the opening set, then fought off a tremendous set by the Wildcats to win 25-14, 25-23.

In the other semifinal, Circle staved off one of Augusta's best sets of the season, then capitalized on several Oriole service errors to win the match 25-22, 25-15.

In the championship, the Jaguars played a strong opening set, then rode its blocking and defense in Set 2 for the win.

The Jaguars will compete in the Class 4A state tournament next weekend.
