  • The Circle volleyball team went 5-0 to win the Circle Round-Robin Tournament on Saturday.
    "Our players competed hard all day. We showed great composure in the 27-25 win against Douglass, and we showed we can battle back strong after losing our first set to Moundridge," said Circle head coach Shelly Nibarger.
    Circle defeated Douglass in two games, 25-17 and 27-25. The T-Birds then defeated the Wichita Defenders 25-22 and 25-17.
    Circle beat Wichita Independent also in two games 25-10 and 25-13 and Conway Springs 25-16 and 25-11.
    The Lady T-Birds only three game match came against Moundridge in the final in the Circle victory going, 22-25, 25-22 and 25-22.
    "All of our players contributed to our success today which made it a fun day for everyone," said Nibarger.
    Circle is now 22-6 on the season.

    Broncos handle Berean and Marion
    The Remington volleyball team faced Berean and Marion at Peabody High School on Tuesday.
    The Lady Broncos beat Berean in just two games going, 25-15 and 25-15.
    Kristyn Wedel had 11 good attacks with 5 kills and 9 total blocks with 4 stuffs. Kylee Schunn served 19/19 with 2 aces and had 5 good back row attacks with 2 kills. Madison Janzen had 13 good attacks with 5 kills and 9 assists.
    Jasmine Ingalsbe had 14 good attacks with 4 kills. Deanna Ingalsbe had 6 good attacks with 3 kills.
    Remington followed with their second win of the night beating Marion 25-21 and 25-18.
    Madison Janzen had 21 good attacks with 10 kills and 12 assists. Jasmine Ingalsbe had 17 good attacks with 8 kills and 13 assists.
    Deanna Ingalsbe had 12 good attacks with 2 kills and 10 total blocks with 7 stuffs. Kylee Schunn had 22 good passes and 4 good back row attacks with 2 kills and she served perfect with 15.
    Kelcey Hinz had 21 good passes and 3 good attacks with 2 kills. Alyssa Hinz had 6 total blocks with 3 stuffs.
    Remington moved to an impressive 24-6 this season with the victories.
