AHS junior Kylie Wesbrooks was able to return home from the hospital Saturday after spending two nights at KMC.

Wesbrooks, who suffered a concussion at the end of the Powder Puff flag football game Thursday night, still is not released to do any activities, especially sports. It is expected that her concussion symptoms, which included temporary memory loss, mostly will subside in the next couple of weeks, though the timeline for her full recovery can vary.

Wesbrooks was tackled near the end of the Powder Puff game as her head hit the turf field. She was carried off on a stretcher.

Wesbrooks's parents hope she will be able to return to school Monday.
