  • Hang on to your hat when you head outdoors for the next several days…. the theme for this week’s forecast is “a little bit breezy.” Sustained south winds of around 15-20 mph will be accompanied, at times, by gusts up to 30 mph.  
    Otherwise, conditions will be sunny and mild through Thursday, with daytime highs just under 80 degrees. By Thursday night, precipitation chances return to the area and continue on through at least Sunday.  
    Thunderstorms are predicted to start in central Kansas on Thursday and then progress into our area on Friday and Saturday – some strong storms could be possible. At this point, though, it’s too early to discuss probabilities or timing for rain/storms, so check back later for more details…
