The Andale Indians showed Augusta why they're the No. 2 ranked team in Class 4A Friday.

Andale rushed for 595 yards and blasted the Orioles 73-6. Andale put up 34 points in the first quarter and 23 more in the second for a 57-0 halftime lead. Hunter Knoblauch had a 71-yard touchdown run on the game's first play from scrimmage. Knoblauch later scored on a 65-yard TD run.

From a combination of wet weather and hard hits by Andale, five different Orioles had a fumble apiece and lost all five of them. Andale had three fumbles but only lost one.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Chase Hull put up Augusta's only points on the scoreboard with a one-yard touchdown run. Chaydon Carter led the team with 42 yards on eight carries. Hull had 15 yards, Jaden Shryock had one rush for 12 yards.

Tristan Finch completed just 1 of 7 seven passes for 10 yards. Dustyn McEachern came in late and completed 5 of 14 passes for 76 yards. Connor Hurst led the Orioles with 48 yards on two receptions.

Hurst and Caleb Faulconer tied for the team-high with six tackles.

Augusta will try to bounce back with a home game against Ark City next Friday for Homecoming.
