Molly Diane Mann, 58, of El Dorado, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her home in El Dorado.
Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 21, 2:00 P.M. at First Christian Church, 300 W. Central, El Dorado.
She was born on June 5, 1955 in Marion, the daughter of Clifford F. and Betty J. (Piper) Mann. Molly graduated from Frederic Remington High School and then attended Butler County College in El Dorado. Molly was a Litigation Legal Secretary.
She was Legal secretary for Philip A. Hamm in El Dorado from 1974 to 1976, when she left to move to Texas. She lived and worked in Austin, Texas as Litigation legal secretary for 11 years. She returned to Kansas to be closer to her family in 1998. She then worked for Martin & Churchill Chartered in Wichita until the firm dissolved in December of 2010. In 2012 Molly began work for MacLaskey Oil. She was a lifetime member of NRA; was a dog lover; enjoyed working with flowers; helping others and loved the outdoors.
She is survived by her mother, Betty (Ramon) Criss; her loving companion, Karl Umbach of Whitewater; brothers and their spouses, Bill and Becky Mann of Burns and Tom and Sally Mann of Duncanville, Texas; nephew, Jason and Brooke Mann of Midlothian, Texas; niece, Payton and Justin Cope of Troupe, Texas; three grandnieces, Uncles Ernie Piper of San Diego, Calif., Earl and Jane Mann of Wichita, Rich and Delores Mann of Cottonwood Falls; step-brothers, Sandy Criss Cooper and Susan (Robert) Criss Carpoy; step-brothers, Bob (Lisa) Criss and Mike (Leslie) Criss; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Mann.
