Orpha L. Stout, 91, of El Dorado, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reece, Kansas Cemetery. The family will receive Friends and relatives on Monday evening from 6 to 8 at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
She was born on Oct. 30, 1921 in Meeker, Okla., the daughter of Charley and Hattie Bell (Davis) Colbert. She graduated from Seminole high School, worked for 20 years at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital as a dietary aide. She loved to play Bingo and volley ball.
On Nov. 21, 1944, she was married to Charles E. Stout, Jr. in Colorado Springs, Colo. He preceded her in death.
Those who survive include her daughter and husband, Diana and Darrell Lowmaster of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stout; a daughter, Sharon Lewellen; two brothers, Melvin and Cleo Colbert; and two great-grandchildren.
