Roger E. Mosier, 55, of El Dorado, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. The celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kirby Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Roger was born Oct. 15, 1957 in El Dorado. He attended school in Towanda and graduated from Circle High School. He was united in marriage on Jan. 7, 1977 to Beverly Pierce in Valley Center.
He was currently working at Road Safe, and was proud to wear his company logo just about all the time.
He loved spending time with his family and especially with his grandkids. They were truly special to him and they all will miss him dearly. He also loved to find time to go fishing and spending time outdoors.
Surviving family include his wife, Beverly; daughter, Christy (John) Stewart of El Dorado; son, Jarrod Mosier of Wichita; sisters, Linda Wallace of Towanda, Brenda Lee of Freemont, Mo., and Mary Ann Hon of Towanda; and grandchildren, Dakota Demo, Trevor Stewart, Sydnie Stewart and Aleesa Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gladys Mosier.
A memorial for funeral expenses has been requested in lieu of flowers. Contributions may be sent to Kirby- Morris Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements.
