  • Butler County 4-H Shotgun Participants Place at State

  • The 2013 State 4-H Fall Shooting Sports Match for the Shotgun division was held on September 28, 2013. The meet took place at the Ark Valley Shooting Range in Sedgwick County. Butler County 4-Her’s participated in this State match wrapping up a year of hard work.

  • The 2013 State 4-H Fall Shooting Sports Match for the Shotgun division was held on September 28, 2013. The meet took place at the Ark Valley Shooting Range in Sedgwick County. Butler County 4-Her’s participated in this State match wrapping up a year of hard work.
    The seniors each shot two round of Skeet and two rounds of Trap from the 16-Yard line. There were 91 seniors from across the State who participated in the Shoot. The Butler County Senior Team placed 9th overall. Individual results for the seniors include:
    Logan Schrag, 3rd overall (11th place in Trap and 1st place in Skeet)
    Garet Johnson, 4th overall (11th place in Trap and 5th place in Skeet)
    Alex Bischoff, 28th overall (29th place in Trap and 28th place in Skeet)
    Emily Steenbock, 68th overall (86th place in Trap and 48th place in Skeet)
    Justin Masters, 79th overall (89th place in Trap and 48th place in Skeet)
    In the Junior Division, a total of 34 youth from across the State of Kansas participated. These youth shot two rounds from the 16-Yard line and two rounds from the 20-Yard line. Junior shooters for Butler County and their placing are as follows:
    Dalton Perez, 8th overall (6th place (after 2 shoot-offs) from the 16-Yard Line and 12th place from the 20-Yard Line)
    Deiter Masters, 31st overall (31st place from the 16-Yard Line and 28th
    place from the 20-Yard Line)
     
    Congratulations to these youth and those who participate in the 4-H Shotgun Shooting Sports program.
